Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actress who became famous in the film Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Holly Hunter won many awards which included the Oscar for her film Piano. The path to acting began in Broadway by performing in a range of Broadway as well as Off Broadway productions. In her early years, Helen Keller was her favourite character in a fifth grade play. In the fifth grade, following a bout of mumps, she lost her hearing in the left ear. She did not let that stop her. While in college, she studied drama after which she relocated into New York City with her plans in mind. Hunter was able to make her Broadway debut due to a chance conversation and Beth Henley, a playwright. The two worked together in Broadway Crimes of the Heart. Hunter made the move into Los Angeles and tried to land film parts. For Swing Shift, she landed a role as a support. Since she was a part of the film, Holly Hunter has been featured in a variety of TV shows and movies. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has also won her the Women in Film Lucy Award.
