Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actor and producer. She has gained recognition for her stellar performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Her film Piano was awarded an Oscar. The path to acting began on Broadway through a myriad of Broadway and Off Broadway projects. The art of acting has been a constant love of life. In the fifth grade she portrayed Helen Keller in an original play. After suffering from the mumps, she became deaf on one side the ear. But, it didn't stop her from pursuing her dream to become an actor. In her early years, she studied drama in college before moving into New York City from Pittsburgh to pursue her ambitions. She met Beth Henley in an elevator and they worked together on Broadway Crimes of the Heart, Hunter's first film. Her first role in film came following her move in Los Angeles. Since then she has appeared in many TV movies and series over a career spanning more than three decades. Holly Hunter won a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as well as her Women in Film Lucy Award.
